Kitsap Arts and Crafts Festival 2013

Location: In Mike Wallace Park next to the Kingston Ferry Terminal & Kingston Marina Dates: July 26, 27 & 28th. This festival is so easy to get to, as you can ride as a "walk on" the Edmonds-Kingston Ferry over and we are right there! Saturday the market will join us, so two for one on that day! Basket Works N.W. by Reggie Presents: Basket Weaving Class Scheduled!!! Class Held at: Tame The Beast Aromas You will learn a randing technique and finish a "Cracker" round basket, with round reed. Now mom's art is displayed at Kirkland Arts Center Store: 336 Parplace Center, Kirkland, WA 98033 Edna Lindberg-Reichert 1926-2013 Edna took art classes at Chicago Art Museum as a child. At 12 years of age she was discovered in Chicago by a Walt Disney Studio rep and invited her to study at Walt Disney Studios for training and classes, so she could work at their studios. if only the family knew someone in CA. She attended Chicago art Institute and the Chicago Academy of Fine arts. She had been a draftsmen, dress pattern maker for designer Mr Airis in LA, drew house plans, technical illustrator, interior decorator and in retirement did weaving on her Swedish style loom her father made.
